Well. Now that I have your attention I feel I should say that I don't really "HATE" EMO, I think I just hate that its replaced good metal and industrial. I'm 25 so I grew up listening to metallica, slayer and NIN. Bands like that put out some really awesome albums that not only have very deep personal lyrics but also well defined musicianship.(Saint Anger dosen't count) and they did it without haveing to cry about why some chick left them or how bad of a life they think they have. I think thats what it boils down too. I don't put up with B----ing and whinning and thats all I here from these people. I dont know if I'm preaching too the wrong crowd, or if I'm preaching to the chorus line but I wuld love some feed back on this. even if its negative, let me be your whipping boy, please:)

`"Whipping boy"..huh.
Well first off, Metalica, is kinda whiney.
Second. Not all these "emo" songs are about girls leaving the guys or vice versa, some of them are about love. Some about betrayal. Some about the truely twisted idea of being with someone who you can actually trust not to break you.
Understand this. I dont do the whole emo crap either, but to introduce yourself in such a manor, well. I have to be honest....kinda whiney. So I'll be rude and say what is on my mind .. " Look at the emo hater, crying about the emo's" Seriously if you dont like it..ignore it.
Third I defend " Emo" not because of the musical disaster behind the word, but because what it is abbreviated for, "emotional" .. Every person is completely emotional in their own way, and as is every band, musician, artist, etc. You just happen to be emotional about disliking certain types of music, I am sure you feel the same thing about certain other types of music. But did you stop to think, maybe it isnt the type of music, maybe it's JUST the lyrics. Some bands can be complete idiots, with the exception of ONE song. but because they are "emo" with their other songs you arent going to hear the one good song they have.
well that was fun. p.s. what can I say .. I'm fiesty. and I like your attitude.

I see, well then. You know, I appreciate that. I can see your point, and wont try to argue with it. The truth is I didnt really care if I sounded whinny, or anythhing like that, the truth is I wanted to piss someone "EMO" off with it. If I pissed you off then I guess Im sorry. You put up some good points, and it figures it would come from somebody who isnt "EMO" But know I feel kinda let down by it. I really wanted some little fag to get real frustrated with me and try and cuss me out or something so i could "feed off of it" so to speak. I let hate flow both into me and out of me, often at the same time:) Know I feel cold and hungry and am thanking you for it so mabye Ill stop know before I dig myself any deeper. And so, I tip my hat to you ma'am, and ride into the sunset.

`You did not piss me off. So no apology needed.
It's kinda funny you say that you feed off the anger of others. Dont you know you can feed off of good things as well?!? I feed off others too. Especially those in pain, and weak .. but I do it so differently than you. I provide for them an outlet from their pain, which in turn puts the emotion in me. I love the feeling.
And your welcome. I enjoy giving others what they desire .. btw. I did not read your profile before I replied the first time...once I read it. Well. lets just say I think we should talk privately. I just havent had the balls to write you myself. :)

I have a hard time believing you have ever even heard a NIN song after a comment like that.
